Exercising at home works for many of us. For some it’s stepping out the front door and going for a walk or run. For some it’s doing calisthenics or working out on machines you have at home. For some it’s yoga, or working out to a DVD workout. However, it’s a rather lonely process. We’re the ones getting our own butts in gear … and there isn’t anyone there to stop us when we allow our brains to talk ourselves out of our workout.
Just because we work out at home doesn’t mean we need to go it alone! We can respond to blogs and let each other know what we’re up to. We can say “way to go” to someone else out there blogging about their progress. We can check out the Mentoring Movement Facebook page and start leaving quick messages of steps we are taking for our health. These small steps from each of us will create a group of people all saying, “Hang in there. Being healthy is worth it.”
Please check out the Mentoring Movement Facebook page and start letting us know how you’re doing with your workouts. Jot down a quick comment if one of these blog posts on the website speaks to you. By speaking up, we let others know they are not alone in the fight to get healthy.
